Minyan every Tuesday at 7:15am  (A Minyan at other times can be arranged through the synagogue office).

Education and Youth Programs

2 Year Olds
This program provides a secure, nurturing environment for the child's first group experience. There are many opportunities to develop independence, gross and fine motor coordination, and social skills. The teachers work with parents to empower the toddler through guidance, learning and love.  Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for two hours each morning.

3 Year Olds

 A program specifically designed to meet the needs of 3 year olds, entitled “Shabbat Shalom”,  will be held Friday mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am. The focus will be a Shabbat experience, as well as all the Chagim, and will include snacks such as challah and grape juice. Space is limited to 8 students. Spaces will be held on a first come basis. Registration packages are available at the Beth Tikvah office. For more information, please contact the Beth Tikvah office.

Hebrew School (K-7)

The goal of our Hebrew school is to plant a love of Judaism in our children.  They learn about their Jewish heritage and beliefs, Jewish history, and Hebrew language skills in classes held Tuesday and Saturday.

Bar and Bat Mitzvah
Grade 7 is our Bar & Bat Mitzvah class. The children are expected to learn the Kabbalat Shabbat, Ma'ariv and Torah Services.

USY
Richmond, Or Chadash USY carries a long tradition of ruach in every aspect of USY programming at the local, regional and international levels. The winner of the 1996 Regional Chapter of the Year Award, Beth Tikvah's USY is the largest chapter in Pinwheel Region with a mailing list of well over 120 teenagers. Local programs are held several times during the month and cover the various aspects of USY involvement. At the regional and international levels members participate in a late Summer Leadership Encampment, Fall Kinnus at Camp Solomon Schechter, a regional study weekend in late Winter, and Spring Regional Convention. Winter break offers USYers the opportunity to attend International Convention.
Summer programs include USY Poland/Eastern Europe/Israel Pilgrimages and USY on Wheels.

Camp Solomon Schechter
Beth Tikvah, along with five other congregations in the Pacific Northwest Region, shares an affiliation with Camp Solomon Schechter, located in Tumwater, Washington.  The camp provides overnight camping experiences in a Conservative Jewish environment for grade 3-10.  The camp offers a counselor-in-training program for those entering grades 11 or 12, as well as summer staffing opportunities.

Adult Education
